The Community Parenting is an educational program that enhances both parent and child development. Prevention and intervention strategies are provided that are effective across cultural lines. The Community Parenting Program offers Parenting Seminars and Classes, a quarterly Community Baby Shower, Babysitting Certifications and Parenting Workshops. Breastfeeding Counseling -   A breastfeeding counselor is available to assist mothers.  Assistance is also available in located an electric breast pump for mothers who are not WIC eligible.  A monthly support group meets the fourth Thursday of every month at 6 pm in the Schoettle Education Center.  Contact the Elaine Dupree or Angie Whatley for more information at (870) 735-5527.
